Week fifty-one

I sent an email out this week with the 2021 Making Art Everyday survey and I have been LOVING reading your responses and feedback!

This time of year is always exciting because I get to plan a ton of fun stuff for the year to come. When I started this project back in 2019, I had no idea it’d be going strong after all this time (we’re about to start year FOUR) or how many people would join in! I’m still so blown away by it all. MAE is a lot of consistent work to put together and keep running, but it always feels worth it when I hear how much it has helped in your lives.

And after reading your feedback, I have so many great ideas brewing for what 2022 will hold! I look forward to making MAE more accessible to all who wish to participate, no matter how much time you can dedicate to it. Fun new prompts and revisits of old favorites. Plus lots more ways to learn! I cannot wait to share all the details about next year’s MAE.

If you missed the survey, I would LOVE to hear from you about what you want to see happening with MAE in the new year. Click the button below to take the survey!

Week 51: Sweets & Sweaters

This week it seems there are a lot of sugary food-based holidays (but who’s complaining?) I hope you enjoy drawing sweet treats this week…but if you’re feeling adventurous…how about a monkey wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, baking up a storm of delicious goodies after a day of looking for a tree to trim with holiday decor! However you decide to interpret the prompts, I think you’ll have a lot of have fun!

As a reminder, each prompt this month is an actual holiday that occurs on that day in December!
