Week EIGHT
I’ve been in a funk lately.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been pretty overwhelmed with work and tasks, and my “mega to-do list”. Seriously. It’s very mega. I think I’ve used the phrase “I’m drowning” at least 20 times this week. So while I have been making art everyday (for work), I haven’t been #makingarteveryday. I’m telling you this because I wanted to share this message:
BE KIND TO YOURSELF.
We set a goal and dammit we’re gonna try hard to achieve it. But not everyday will be a success and that is OK. 257 out 365 drawings in 2019 is something to applaud. So if you fall off the wagon, know that you can pick right back up, and join in wherever we’re at in this challenge. YOU GOT THIS.
What to Do
- Take some time this week to look back on all the art you made so far this year. I imagine by now you’ve got a giant (virtual) stack of things you’ve drawn. Take a minute to reflect on how far you’ve come!
