Week Forty-Nine

I’m so proud of you!

Last month, I definitely asked a lot of you with environment drawings and I’m blown away at how so many pushed yourselves out of your comfort zones to try something new and challenging. You should be very proud of yourselves! I’m also so impressed with how supportive and open you’ve been with each other in the Making Art Everyday Facebook group. I’m so proud of this amazing community we’ve built together!

What to Do

  • Now it’s December and we are in the home stretch of 2019! This month can be a busy one for many people, but be sure to prioritize time for yourself to do what you love, even if it’s just 15 minutes a day.

December Prompts

Celebrations

For many people, December is a month filled with celebrations. Parties, holidays, get-togethers, and more. You worked so hard at a challenging topic last month, so for week 48, I thought I’d give you prompts that were a bit more straightforward. You can draw them as simply or as detailed as you’d like!

Week 49 | Dec 2-8

You can access each week’s prompts at makingarteveryday.com

Track your Making Art Everyday progress! See at-a-glance all you’ve accomplished, and reflect on the work you’ve done at the end of the week. Visit bardotbrush.com/progress to download the monthly tracker and weekly reflection sheet. There are also instructions about how to use them.

TUTORIAL: How to draw a piece of cake

I made this tutorial back in Week 22 for the “birthday party” prompt, but I thought it would be perfect to share for Thursday’s “cake or cupcakes” prompt!
