Let’s get a little moody! In this week’s live tutorial, I’ll be drawing a glowing candle. The gentle glow of candlelight can add some serious ambiance to your illustrations. I hope you’ll join and draw along with me!

October would not be complete without some spooky scary stuff! As we head into Halloween, our last genre of the month is Horror.
Halloween is probably my favorite holiday, though I’m not actually a big fan of the spooky stuff. I love Halloween because you get to see people express their interests and personalities through their costumes choices! People get creative and show what kind of things they are into. Plus, its an opportunity to make costumes! Every year our family goes crazy with the costumes and creates a fun family theme. I’ve been sharing this year’s costume-making process in my Instagram stories. This year we are all going as Mario characters, inspired by our familial love of Mario and his crew!
