On July 30th at 10:30 am PDT, I will be teaching a LIVE tutorial where we’ll draw some cool art together based on the drawing prompts!
I’ll walk you through making some simple drawings using my Kids Make Art! brush set, and then I’ll give you some tips about turning your art into stickers! You can learn TONS more about making your Procreate artwork into stickers on my Sticker Resource Page!
During this live tutorial, we’ll be giving away $500 worth of credit at StickerApp where you can print stickers of your artwork! 5 lucky winners will each receive a $100 USD StickerApp credit!
We’ll also be giving away a few Master Bundles during Friday’s live! The Master Bundle is my full collection of Procreate brushes – 14 brush sets, 284 brushes covering a wide range of art mediums like gouache, dry media, pastels, alcohol markers, watercolor, pencils, midcentury-inspired brushes, and much more.
Be sure to grab my FREE “Kids Make Art!” brush set for Procreate! It’s got all your favorite art supplies you loved as a child and is perfect for little Procreate artists too! If you’re joining Friday’s live, download them by then — we’ll be using them in the tutorial.
I’ve made a webpage that will serve as a home base for everything that is going on this month – and there’s a lot! You can find that page at bardotbrush.com/kids. It’s got a full schedule of all the tutorials and other fun stuff that is going on during Kid’s Month.
Week 31: Kid’s Choice
For the final week of Kid’s Month, our community asked kids what they wanted to draw, and from that, we created this group of fun drawing prompts. Have fun with this grab-bag of drawing ideas!
I’m especially excited about self-portrait day! Something to keep in mind — a self-portrait doesn’t have to look exactly like you. Exaggerate your features, or make yourself larger than life! You could even draw yourself in the style of an animated character. This tutorial about how to draw yourself like a Peanuts character looks super fun! It’s drawn in a different app, but you could draw your version in Procreate. And check out Procreate’s tutorial about how to animate your character!
