Week Sixteen

I just wanted to say: I am SO proud of all of you!

I see you out there, pushing yourselves to try new things — especially this month with your art styles. I hear so many of you saying how you would never have thought to draw in this way or that, but you are trying it, and doing it, and learning so much! That is what Making Art Everyday is all about. Keep it up!

It’s not about making amazing finished pieces. It’s not even about making finished pieces! It’s about making. The more you make, the more you’ll learn and grow as an artist, and as a human. I’m super proud of you!

What to Do

  • Revisit a style you really enjoyed exploring earlier this month, but with a new prompt. The more you identify styles you like, and make them your own, the closer you get to developing “your style.”
