Most of us don’t want to feel uncomfortable. We go to great lengths to stay as far away from that yucky feeling as possible. It’s true, feeling uncomfortable might mean something terrible is happening, but it also could mean that something amazing is about to happen. Seek out the uncomfortable feeling that means you are pushing yourself into uncharted territory where you don’t know exactly how things are going to go. The feeling that gives you a knot in your stomach and makes you take a deep breath…before jumping in. THAT uncomfortable feeling is where the growth happens.
I’ve seen you all this month, going out on a limb and trying new styles with your art. This month’s challenge requires you to take that leap into something you don’t quite know how to do, but dammit, you’re gonna try anyway. Sometimes it comes out great, other times…not-so-much. But either way, you are learning!
This past week I released my first FREE Procreate brush set: Pixel art for Procreate! I also gave a live class on Friday showing you how to use the set to make your own pixel art. I highly recommend checking it out and exploring one of our 30 art styles: Pixel Art! It’s so much fun! Watch the class here.
Stay tuned for more live draw videos where we can hang and draw together, I can answer your questions, and show you some cool Procreate tips and tricks! I’ve been going live during the week around 10 or 11 am PST.

We are continuing our weather prompts and exploring more art styles! If you need a refresher on how to approach MAE this month, check out the Week 14 email.
Be sure to frequently check out the 30 Art Styles to Try in Procreate article I wrote to get inspired. I’ve done some live tutorials in a few of the styles, and I’ll be adding those videos to the article as they are ready. Keep watching the live streaming this month as I explore more styles with you!
