I made these brushes after falling in love with the handmade charm of Italian ceramics.
Wandering through pottery shops and sunlit markets across Italy, I was constantly drawn to the expressive, imperfect textures—streaky glazes, crumbly overlays, and those satisfyingly bristly brush marks. So I brought that inspiration home and turned it into a set of digital tools you can actually paint with, no kiln required!
Ceramic Glaze includes 18 Procreate brushes designed to evoke the feel of painting on clay—from bold, painterly strokes to dusty textures and crackled finishes. Whether you’re creating illustrations inspired by tiles, vases, fruit bowls, or vintage dishware, this set delivers a playful, intuitive painting experience packed with rustic charm.

The smoothest and most solid brush in the set, ideal for laying down even, opaque color with minimal streaking. A perfect base layer for your ceramic-inspired artwork.
A squared-off version of the Underglaze brush, delivering crisp corners and solid fills. Great for blocking in shapes with structure.
Thick, paint-loaded strokes with natural variation and soft bristle edges. This brush captures the feel of glaze brushed on with intent, leaving rich buildup in every pass.
A square-tipped brush with a bold, blocky footprint and dry-brush texture. Great for structured shapes and chunky color application.
A thin, bristly brush with expressive, groove-like texture and dry edges. Ideal for painterly fills, loose strokes, and directional marks. Features Apple Pencil Pro roll support—twist your Apple Pencil Pro to dynamically control the angle, shape, and position of your strokes.
A wide-format version of Groovy Glaze – Roll, perfect for bold fills, large shapes, and sweeping strokes with chunky, handmade character. Features Apple Pencil Pro roll support—twist your Apple Pencil to adjust the stroke’s angle, shape, and placement with precision.
Light and airy with faint streaks. Perfect for building up translucent layers or adding soft movement to your work.
This brush builds up darker values as you layer, thanks to its Multiply blend mode. Great for shadows, tonal depth, and moody glaze effects.
Soft and powdery, this brush adds a dusty texture for shading or aging your artwork with subtle, earthen charm.
Grittier and more scratchy than Ashen, this overlay adds pronounced texture, perfect for shading over strokes or giving your artwork a distressed, fired finish.
Mimics the texture of pooled glaze with hints of speckle. Use it to create areas of build-up, irregular fill, or natural ceramic variation.
A deeper, more shadowed version of Gritty Glaze. Builds in intensity as you layer—excellent for adding mood or texture with dimension.
Replicates the fine texture of crackled ceramic glaze. Use it as a finishing touch to add surface charm and an aged, tactile effect. Builds intensity with each layered stroke.
The most solid and smooth of the liner brushes, great for bold, confident strokes with a slightly handmade edge.
A bold, slightly gritty liner with dry edges and a subtle lightness through the center. Great for expressive strokes that feel handmade.
Darkens at the beginning and end of each stroke, like glaze pooling under pressure. Ideal for dynamic lines with natural weight and visual interest.
Soft-edged with a touch of bleed, this brush gives your linework a slightly watery, glaze-like flow.
Bold and irregular, with bubbly texture breaks. This gritty liner adds rugged charm and ceramic-inspired surface tension to your linework.
